Sneaks on the AVE: adidas Originals adiRise 2.0

adidas Originals has long fed the fans of the three stripes with frequent releases of hallmark models.

From Superstars to Gazelles it's all there, but don't think for a second that they aren't still pumping out new designs that are earning their own stripes.

Check out the adidas Originals adiRise 2.0, a sleek mid featuring a sweeping section of glossy patent leather that stretches all the way up to the supportive strap.

The four debut colorways all come solidly blocked, with the cool grey looking one being a definite stand out.

For an in depth look at the just released adidas Originals AR 2.0, check 'em out now at adidas online.

Sneaks on the AVE: UNDFTD x Converse Ballistic Capsule

July brought us the navy blues and now for August, has thrown a white party and the Converse Star Player and Academy are invited.  The second set from the Undefeated x Converse Ballistic capsule, these pristine classics offer two radically different approaches to all-white sneakers.  The Star Player hightop is almos entirely ballistic nylon, just the tongue and ankle collar done in a tonal tumbled leather.  The choice of black, white or orange laces carries over to the tumbled leather Academy lowtop that features a ballistic accent on the eyestay.  Click the pics to see for a closer look plus the matching ALICE pack and pick up a pair from the UNDFTD chapter stores today, August 19th.

Weekend Box Office Results August 19, 2011 - August 21, 2011

Good thing we're not paid psychics, cuz we were waaaaaay off with our predictions for who would be Box Office CHAMP this past weekend. Apparently "The Help" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" wanted to play musical chairs this weekend as the two films remained at the top of the box office, only this time "The Help" would land at # 1 and "Planet of the Apes" # 2. Our guess for the # 1 movie this weekend was "Fright Night" and that film came in at # 6,  Garnering $ 8 Million at the box office. Check the list for the rest ladies and gents, and we'll be back on Friday with more new Films for you to check out
