Oscar Winner Kathy Bates Gets Disjointed With Snoop Dogg | GGN NEWS

MERRY JANE
https://merryjane.com

On the latest episode of GGN, the Doggfather sits down with Academy Award-winning actress Kathy Bates to break down decades of cinematic excellence.

Few actresses hold as much Hollywood starpower as Kathy Bates. From her beginning on Broadway, her Oscar-winning performance in Misery, 14 Emmy nominations, and consistently hilarious comedic roles in classics like The Waterboy and About Schmidt, Bates can do it all. In her latest endeavor, Bates goes green, assuming the role of Ruth Whitefeather Feldman, an activist-turned-dispensary owner navigating the unpredictable world of California’s medical cannabis industry in the Netflix original half-hour sitcom Disjointed.

On the latest, very special episode of GGN, Bates joins Uncle Snoop in the studio to break down her long career, her “square” history with weed, mutual connections in the cannabis industry, and the beauty of watching James Brown perform live.

So grab your popcorn, fire up your favorite strain, and grab a seat alongside the Doggfather for stoney conversation with one of the silver screen’s living legends. And for more cannabis-minded Kathy Bates content, keep your eyes peeled for the second half of Disjointed season one, dropping on Netflix January 12th.

Karreuche, Too $hort, and More Celebrate the Holidays With Uncle Snoop |...

In my quest for content, and what I wanna do when I start creating more original content, I had to pay more attention to Uncle Snoop. He's had this channel for awhile now, and I had to do my due diligence to introduce some possible new ish to the net trafficers that maneuver through the streets of BlvdAve !

Snoop and squad bring the year to a close with a holiday feast, Christmas carolers, and lively convo over full cups and enough weed to sedate a snowman.

With Hanukkah officially in the rear-view mirror and Christmas around the corner, the holidays are in full swing. And while Snoop and his ever-expanding extended family skipped their annual Thanksgiving feast for a best-of roundup show, you can bet your ass the Doggfather isn’t missing out on some Yuletide cheer.

On this very special holiday episode of GGN, Snoop is joined by a table of new and old faces, as everyone’s favorite uncle welcomes Bishop Don “Magic” Juan, Too $hort, Luenell, Michael Blackson, Karrueche Tran, Fatboy SSE, and more to break bread and harmonize over holiday tunes.

While Snoop substitutes lukewarm catering for red hot reefer, the squad breaks down the origins of Christmas, talks broken dreams of holidays’ past, and, on more than one occasion, spontaneously breaks into song. Because after all, even if they’re not really relatives, the holidays are always best spent with the fam!

So before the holidays pass us by and we all inevitably break our New Year’s resolutions, take a load off and get in the Christmas spirit with MERRY JANE and GGN.

R.I.P : Nate Dogg Passes Away at 41 Years Old

One of Hip Hop's most iconic voices Nate Dogg passed away last night at the age of 41.

Hip Hop suffered another loss late last night, as Long Beach, California news site PressTelegram.com reports that Nathaniel "Nate Dogg" Hale has died at the age of 41.

Although no official cause of death has been announced, the former Death Row alum suffered from two strokes, his most recent one in September 2008.

A number of artists have confirmed Nate's passing via Twitter, including long-time friend and frequent collaborator Snoop Dogg.

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Nate Dogg first began singing in Long Beach's New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach and Life Line Baptist Church in Clarksdale, Mississippi, where his father was a pastor. In 1991, he formed a rap trio 213 with friends and fellow LBC residents Warren G and Snoop Dogg. Their demo found its way to Dr. Dre, who then enlisted all three members on his seminal debut The Chronic. Nate eventually signed with west coast powerhouse Death Row Records.

As a solo artist, Nate released three albums, including 1998's G-Funk Classics, Vols. 1 & 2, 2001's Music & Me and his self-titled 2003 release. He also reunited with Snoop Dogg and Warren G as 213 for 2004's The Hard Way. Nate established himself as a staple of west coast Hip Hop in his plethora of guest features, singing on classics like Warren G's "Regulate," Snoop Dogg's "Ain't No Fun" and Dr. Dre's "Xxplosive." He also leant his vocals to a number of charting-topping hits from a wide variety of Hip Hop's elite, including 2Pac, Eminem, Pharoahe Monch, Mos Def, Ludacris, 50 Cent and many more.

BLVDAVE would like to extend our condolences and sympathies to the family and friends of Nate Dogg. Rest In Peace big homie
