Hot or Not ?? The Nike Air Moc ACG

The Nike Air Moc ACG has released in an eclectic variety of colorways and materials befitting its unique design, this latest edition echoing a design style popularized by another avant garde Swoosh sneaker.
The Air Moc LT features a
woven leather upper that differs from the various Footscape releases primarily by its use of a much wider strip for more of a checkerboard appearance. This one has a tonal black upper that goes nicely with the white sole and grey accents and is currently slated as a summer 2011 release. Check through the pics to get a better look and stick with BlvdAve for word on the US drop date of this shoe. We're kinda feeling this joint, what do you guys think : Hot or Not ???

FRESHNESS: Air Jordan XI IE Low

Its back !!!! Props to Kicks-Lab once again for the info. Although when these originally dropped back in the day I couldnt stand em, since then I have had a change of HEART !!! Its lowcut, heavily ventilated in-season sequel of a design can be seen to foreshadow modern basketball performance models like the Hyperfuse, LeBron 8 V2 and Zoom Kobe VI, which goes to prove that the Air Jordan XI IE Low was truly ahead of its time when it released in the summer of 1996. This original black and Red colorway has aged well, with the only notable change for this new release a smokey translucent sole that should serve to prevent any yellowing as you show these some love in your sneaker rotation over the next fifteen years. Check out the limited size run currently available from Kicks-Lab.

Definitely a must have during the hot summer days, ladies & gents if you're trying to be FRESH !! Plus THEY'RE JORDANS, you can never go wrong with Jordans baby !!!

Hot or Not ??? Nike SB dunk low space jam

The Air Jordan XI Space Jam was the hot shoe of the year leading up to its release in late 2009, earning it the top spot of Sneaker News’ Top 30 Sneaker of 2009. The Space Jam theme spilled over to 2010, as we saw a number of custom kicks, general release shoes, and even Air Force 1 Bespokes inspired by the gorgeous Air Jordan design, and for May 2011, Space Jam will touch down on the not-so-distant plane of Nike SB.

Here’s a look at the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Space Jam’, featuring a black patent leather upper paired with black mesh, roped laces (as seen on the Air Jordan XI), blue typefont on the tongue label and heel, and a translucent ‘ice’ sole paired with a white midsole. These SB Dunk beauties are a dream come from true for those who love seeing ‘cross-over’ projects, and this is certainly the best Space Jam SB Dunk that could possibly be imagined.

FRESHNESS: The Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Draft Day’

SHOUT OUT TO Kicks-Lab for the pics !!!

Imagine if Kobe Bryant had played the first years of his career with the Charlotte Hornets. Would the team (or any other, for that matter) have moved to New Orleans? Would Kobe’s desire to win championships lead to him willingly pairing up with Shaquille O’Neal? Would the Oklahoma City Thunder even exist? The questions don’t end there, but these hypotheticals are part of the reason why the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Draft Day’ is so compelling.

The dope colorway certainly doesn’t hurt, but it’s definitely worth debating whether Bryant’s star would have shined as brightly had he not been traded on the night of the 1996 NBA Draft for Vlade Divac. Click through to see the convergence of what is with what might have been and stick with BLVDAVE for updates on the Zoom Kobe VI Draft Day, currently slated for a May 26th release.

Hot or Not ??? Nike Air Force 1 Low white leather and Honeycomb

What happens when a wool snake sheds its skin? If you’re the detail-oriented type, you might stop and wonder, “Wait a second, there’s no such thing as a wool snake!” When it comes to the animal kingdom, you’re absolutely right, but there’s no denying this new Nike Air Force 1 Low bears a certain resemblance to the ‘Wool Snake’ AF1 Highs that hit Nike Sportswear retailers last month. since ‘real’ snakes don’t shed their scales for seasonal temperature changes anyway (the purpose of shedding is to allow continued growth), it seems somehow bizarrely poetic that in shedding the AF1 High’s ankle strap and collar in favor of a smaller silhouette, we’ve ended up with a metamorphosis more akin to a butterfly, one whose white leather and Honeycomb swoosh is a nice variation on the classic white summer sneaker.

SO WHAT DO YALL THINK... HOT OR NOT ??? WE'RE DEFINITELY LIKING THESE !!!

Hot or Not ??? Nike Air Max 95

Nike Sportswear has employed the Bright Mandarin shade of orange on a number of retro runners this spring, and with two different Air Max 24/7s offering their own grey/white/orange mix, it seems only right to include the immortal Nike Air Max 95 in this discussion. This upcoming pair of Ninety-Fives offers a slightly modified take on the classic grey-dient including a black mesh layer that converges into the aforementioned shade of orange on the eyelets. Proof that not all black and orange kicks have to look like a jack-o-lantern, these new Air Max 95s are slated to hit select NSW retailers during the first week of April so click through to see more and stick with BLVDAVE for word on the US release.

UPDATE: YOU CAN PURCHASE THESE NOW ON EBAY !

hOT OR nOT ??? Taylor Steele’s Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke

Taylor Steele’s Poor Specimen production company has created over twenty movies, music videos and TV shows, most of which revolve around his love of surfing. He’s not Jack Johnson or anything, but from the looks of Steele’s Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke, we’d have to assume he also has a thing for Gibson guitar(s) (cases). At least, that’s what looking at his 1of1 AF1s would remind most sneakerheads, their oiled brown leather uppers and two toned gum sole bearing a striking resemblance to 2008′s Dunk Low Premium SB ‘Gibson’. That combination is impeccable but Steele went a bit further, applying a custom swirly graphic (inspired by a ripcurl, perhaps?) on the lateral heel, dubrae and hangtag, with a red sockliner and tongue finishing things off with an aggressive punch. Click through to get a better look and be sure to let us know how these rank against the other AF1 Bespokes we’ve profiled here on Sneaker News. via Surfbang

Hot or Not ??? Air Jordan II Max

Jordan hybrids always stir up heated debate, but when considering the long-term of Jordan Brand’s relevance to the sneaker game, the Legacy needs to be reinvented in one way or another.

Replacing Air Jordans 1 through XIV is an impossible task and re-issuing every Air Jordan colorway will soon exhaust itself, so there must be methods to rejuvenate the line without compromising the original beauty and design.

One way to do that is by modernizing its classic designs by infusing the latest in Nike technology, and the Air Jordan II Max does just that as it pairs the Air Jordan II with a full-length Max Air unit.

Even the original Air Jordans were not widely receive, but with an open mind, hybrids like the Air Jordan II Max will not only become ‘acceptable’, but desirable.

So take another good look at the Air Jordan II Max and let us know what you think.

Hot or Not ??? Jordan IX Premio sample

Props to TOEBOX_CHAMP for the pics !!
Jordan Brand describes its Bin 23 Collection as “lost stories, resurrected by passion, that are finally ready to be whispered again.” Each Premio colorway is inspired by a previous sample that did not make it into production, so what can we make of this unreleased version of the Air Jordan IX Premio Look-See sample? Will there be a Bin 23 Collection of the Bin 23 Collection? Now we're showing you this Air Jordan IX sample that features a grey-toned color scheme with snake-skin on the upper mudguard. Nike’s concerted efforts at maintaining a level of awareness to wildlife preservation could have been one major reason as to why this sample was never produced, opting for the equally luxurious White/Metallic Gold as the final release.

The Look-See sample of the Air Jordan IX Premio features a matte-finished grey snakeskin upper with a luxurious grey leather upper and cream-colored roped laces. Paired with the white midsole is a grey outsole similar to the Air Jordan IX ‘Cool Grey’ release from 2002. It’s worth pointing out that this Look-See sample and the released version have next to nothing in common, so it’s quite apparent that the minds behind the Jordan Brand Bin 23 Collection went ‘back to the drawing board’ with this one! Regardless of the reasons behind this Snakeskin sample being thrown in the vault, these are certainly a unique collector’s item that will wow even the most hard-to-please Jordan fans. The Nike Air Max Penny 1

We just got a retro of the Nike Air Foamposite One in Dark Neon Royal he made famous back in 1997, but what about Penny Hardaway’s first Nike Basketball signature sneaker? The Nike Air Max Penny 1 is set to receive another round of releases and with this OG colorway among the best loved sneakers of all time, you know they’re gonna be a quick seller. It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly two decades since they debuted but that just goes to prove the timeless quality of perfect design, but don’t make the mistake of thinking they’ll be around forever. Look through to see the shots and look for these NOW at retailers

Hot or Not ??? Nike Dunk High "ACG Pack"

Nike All Conditions Gear is at its heart all about being ready for the roughest conditions,
and with the above pictured pair, they practically jumped out the gate.

Check out this new Nike Dunk High from the ACG Pack.

The first pair is done in dark grey tumbled leather with tonal purple and pink accents,
for a look that’s all at once vintage ACG and mildly feminine.

Hot or Not ??? Nike Air Jordan 6-17-23

Here’s a look at an all-new colorway of the Air Jordan 6-17-23; it features a familiar combination of Black, Varsity Red, and Cement Grey, made popular by the Air Jordan IV. The upper features combination of flat synthetic black leather and nubuck leather for the two-toned contrast in material, with a net-weave material on the center. The speckled cement grey midsole spans the entire front end and finishes off on the rear portion as well as on the ‘spoiler’. What do you think of this new colorway of the 6-17-23. Hot or Not y'all ???

Hot or Not ?? Nike Air Pegasus ’92

With all the Nike Sportswear’s V-Series retros and performance-oriented updates, you might have forgotten this classic Swoosh runner was on the way.

But thank goodness NSW stayed the course and brought us this new Nike Air Pegasus ’92, a beautiful look back at how Nike running has matured over the past eighteen-plus years.

These joints are done largely in cream colored suede but it’s the bright blue and orange accents that make these a must-have, not to mention the super-comfy ride provided by its dual-density midsole.

Coming soon yall, but in the mean time, what do yall think; HOT OR NOT ???
Also, it goes pretty swell with the Taster'Z Choice "Sun Beam" Tee

Hot or Not ??? Nike Air Trainer SC High

PROPS TO SNEAKERNEWS ON THE INFO !!!

The original ‘Bo Jackson’ Air Trainer SC High is considered to be one of Nike’s best designs ever. It set the precedent for Nike Training and was rife with Nike’s brightest technology (like the tensile fibers on the upper that would be the precursor to Flywire used today). This IS THE new colorway of Grey, Obsidian, and Circuit Orange. Eastbay just got these in right now so take another look below and don’t miss out on these if you’re a Nike Trainer nut.

So what do ya think ladies & gents, HOT OR NOT ??

Hot or Not ??? The Air Jordan V "Wolf-Grey"

The Air Jordan V was designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired Mustang fighter jets. The upper translucent ‘netting’ offered a lightweight advantage, and the oversized, 3M-reflective tongue was a used as a huge billboard of sorts for the Jumpman logo. But enough about the past: dropping on May 14th at Jordan Brand retailers is the all-new ‘Wolf Grey’ colorway of the Air Jordan V. Grey color schemes have been a popular one for Jordans in the past so there’s no mystery that these will be a big hit once they release. A mid-May drop means you’ll have one more neck-breaking item before school lets out and another pair for your summer-time rotation. Are these a must-have for you? Check out the images and let us know... Hot or Not ?!?!?!

Hot or Not ??? Nike Air Max Griffey 1 ‘Cincinnati’ colorway

The secret ingredient in Cincinnati-style chili is cinnamon but this Cincy-inspired sneaker looks like it’s covered in cayenne. The Nike Air Max Griffey 1 ‘Cincinnati’ represents the second half of Junior’s career when he chose to be closer to his family by signing with the hometown Reds. These stay true to OG form by featuring 24 instead of the 30 Griffey wore in honor of his father’s time with the same team some twenty years earlier. It’s kinda perfect really, the shoe being ‘off’ by a tiny margin in the way the Kid’s career seemed to turn after he left Seattle. A bittersweet retrospective on perhaps the greatest baseball player of the last two decades told by an undeniably sick retro trainer, the Sport Red AGM1 will hit retailers on February 26th

So we ask you guys & gals, HOT OR NOT ???
