Holograms Invade Rock The Bells last week

Since the 2 pac Hologram performing with Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre last year, hip hop fans have been wondering about the possibilities of full fledge concerts by some of the cultures deceased legends. Well at the 2013 Rock the Bells we saw holograms emerge of two more legends.

Eazy-E was resurrected on his 50th birthday last night at Rock The Bells in Los Angeles.  Accompanied by protégés Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, he recited his verses from “Straight Outta Compton”, “Boyz-N-The-Hood” and “For Tha Love Of $”. On day 2, the late O’l Dirty Bastard was resurrected by the Wu, who even brought out his son, Young Dirty. Like father, like son. What do you guys think on the AVE ?? Would a hologram concert of our deceased legends be something you'd pay to see ?? Hit us with some comments, let us know your thoughts.

"Tupac" will begin shooting sometime this spring/summer !!!!

shout out to www.hiphopdx.com for the news

Thursday, Morgan Creek Pictures announced filming of the movie Tupac will begin shooting sometime between late spring and early summer. No lead actor has been announced to play the role of Tupac Shakur, and a majority of the casting is still underway.

Training Day’s Antoine Fuqua will direct the biopic, while 2Pac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, serves as executive producer. Former Ruthless Records A&R, L.T. Hutton, who similarly spent time at Death Row Records will also serve as a producer. Hutton’s Program Pictures works in conjunction with Morgan Creek. In 2009, Shakur and Morgan Creek were involved in a $10 million lawsuit over the rights to the biopic, but it appears both parties have since worked out their respective differences.

“I am confident that Morgan Creek will stay true to the common goal we share of depicting Tupac’s life in a way that will allow the world to see the authenticity of his artistry, his hopes, and his life goals,” Shakur said in a released statement.

There is currently no scheduled release date for Tupac, but sources at Morgan Creek stated the film will be shot on location in Los Angeles, New York, Georgia and Las Vegas and will follow the life and legacy of Shakur, who was murdered in 1996.
